No account, no sign-up

Tools99 does not require an account or sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details, and we do not run user accounts.

Your files stay on your device

Most tools run entirely in your browser. The files and text you use with a tool are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to Tools99 servers, stored by us, or sold. Anything a tool saves (for example a file you download) goes to your own device. The only exceptions are the named public services below, which a tool page also names at the point of use.

Third-party services this site actually uses

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — loaded on every page to display text. When your browser fetches the fonts, Google may receive your IP address and browser details, as it would for any site loading Google Fonts.
  • Currency exchange-rate APIs — the currency converter calls Frankfurter (api.frankfurter.dev) first and ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com) as a fallback, to fetch public exchange rates. Only the currency codes you convert are sent; no file is uploaded.
  • is.gd (is.gd) — the link shortener sends the long link you enter to is.gd so it can return a short link. That link is the only data sent.
  • Video engine from a CDN — video tools load the ffmpeg video engine from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) when you use them. The engine runs in your browser; your video file itself is not uploaded to the CDN.
  • Cloudflare Pages hosting — this site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which serves the pages you request. Cloudflare may log standard request information (such as IP address and requested page) as part of operating the hosting service.

We do not use an analytics service, and we do not run advertising on this site today.

Cookies

Tools99 itself sets no cookies and runs no tracking. The third-party services listed above may set or read their own cookies or receive technical information when your browser contacts them, under their own privacy policies. Your browser's cookie settings control this; blocking third-party cookies does not stop the tools from working, except where a named service itself needs to respond (for example, a rate or short-link lookup).

Advertising — not running today, prepared for honestly

No advertisements are shown on Tools99 today, and no advertising cookies are set by this site. If advertising is added in future, this section will apply from the day ads go live, and this policy will be updated before then: advertisements would be served by Google AdSense, and Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. You would be able to opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, and a consent choice for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom would be offered before any advertising cookie is set. Until that day, nothing in this paragraph is active.

Children

Tools99 is a general-purpose utilities site and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be shown on this page with a new "last updated" date before they take effect. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
